Billing Information

We offer both individual and group therapy sessions with a mixed billing structure:

  • Individual Consultation (One-on-One): The fee is $200 for a 40-minute session (29 minutes spent directly with the patient and 11 minutes for writing clinical notes). Eligible patients can receive a Medicare rebate of $152, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $48.
  • Group Therapy (Two or More People in One Consultation): For example, this could include a couple, or a child and a parent(s). Group therapy is fully bulk-billed for eligible patients, meaning no out-of-pocket costs.


Whether it's an individual session or group therapy, the total consultation time remains the same at 40 minutes.


Charge Policy

As part of our commitment to providing you with the best possible care, we would like to inform you about our updated Cancellation Policy, Agreement, and Consent process at A Peace Corner. Please take a moment to review the details below:

Cancellation Policy:

As per A Peace Corner medical practice guidelines, a cancellation fee will be charged under the following circumstances:

  • 100% cancellation fee for ‘no shows’.
  • 75% cancellation fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
  • 50% cancellation fee for cancellations made between 24 – 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

*Please note that legitimate reasons for cancellation (e.g., emergency, car accident) will be considered, and in such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged. Clients are required to provide proof, such as documentation of emergency attendance at a hospital.


Agreement:

By registering for your first consultation session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with A Peace Corner’s policies, including the confidentiality, safety, and the cancellation policy outlined above. 


Consent:

Your continued engagement with our services serves as your consent to the terms and conditions of A Peace Corner, including the cancellation policy.
