Dr Maryam Bassirat is a dedicated professional focused on preventing chronic medical conditions and promoting overall health through nutrition. With a total of 34 years of experience in the medical field, including 15 years of research in areas such as diabetes, heart disease, and chronic pain, she has developed extensive expertise in understanding and managing inflammatory conditions. Dr Bassirat has authored several publications, including a book, and has contributed to teaching at major hospitals in Melbourne throughout her career.
In 2014, she further strengthened her knowledge by completing a Master’s degree in Dietetics at Monash University. This has allowed her to offer clients the latest research and practical, personalized nutrition advice. Dr Bassirat’s counselling approach is supportive and tailored to individual needs, aiming to improve
both health outcomes and quality of life. Additionally, her understanding of Persian culture enables her to provide culturally sensitive guidance to Farsi-speaking clients.

Fees:
- The Dietitian item is 10954 = $60.35
- Dr Maryam will charge $120.
- The service is at least 50 minutes duration
- $120 ($59.65 out of pocket) for the first visit and $100 ($39.65) after that.
